Amy Fresher
Lic.Ac, MBAcC
I’m a licensed acupuncturist and a proud member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) and the Acupuncture Fertility Network (AFN). My training is grounded in Traditional Chinese Medicine, which I studied over three years at degree level, earning a Licentiate in Acupuncture (LicAc) from the City College of Acupuncture in London. I had the privilege of learning from some of the UK’s most respected practitioners, their knowledge and mentorship continue to shape how I approach every treatment—with curiosity, care, and deep respect for this medicine.
While I treat a broad range of conditions, I have a special interest in women’s health and fertility. I’ve undertaken additional specialist training in acupuncture for fertility, IVF support, and menstrual health. My own experiences of using acupuncture during pregnancy give me a personal and empathetic understanding of the emotional and physical nuances many women face on their reproductive journey.
Before training as an acupuncturist, I completed a Bachelor of Commerce at Murdoch University in Perth, Australia, and spent several years working in corporate HR. That experience has given me valuable insight into the pressures of modern life and the importance of creating space for rest, recovery, and realignment.
I first discovered acupuncture in my early twenties when I was seeking help for hormonal imbalances. What I received was so much more—better sleep, clearer focus, reduced anxiety, and a sense of coming home to myself. That transformative experience is what led me to study this medicine in depth and ultimately make it my career.
I offer home visit treatments across South West London because I believe healing happens best in an environment where you feel completely at ease. My aim is always to provide calm, supportive, and personalised care—meeting you exactly where you are and helping you reconnect with your own natural balance and vitality.
